Crafting the brand identity and visual experience for the Maastricht Debate 2024, bringing top-tier EU political leaders into focus.
I worked on the brand identity for the Maastricht Debate 2024, a major political event that brought together candidates for the presidency of the European Commission. This included representatives from the main political groups in the EU, as well as the current President, Ursula von der Leyen.
I also created the promotional videos for the event and the videos shown during the debate.
My team and I carefully planned the project, using storyboards, mockups, and tests to improve communication with stakeholders and keep everything running smoothly.
This debate took place in Maastricht (The Netherlands), the birthplace of the 1992 Maastricht Treaty that established the European Union.
The event had a huge impact, with over 250K live viewers, 55 million impressions on social media, and mentions in top European media outlets like The Guardian, Euronews, the Financial Times, and El País.
POLITICO worked jointly with Studio Europa Maastricht to make it possible, with the help of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
